A huge congratulations is in order for P-Pop girl group, YARA, who have officially joined the incredible roster of artists at Sony Music Entertainment! Gelou, Rocher, Christa, and Kim gratefully announced their team-up with the record label who currently handle some of the biggest names in P-Pop such as SB19 and 4th Impact. In a statement by the group, the members shared that “Sony Music PH and YARA are a match made in heaven” and that they were surprised to see that their “vision and passion for music are the same.” The group also shared that “after everything that we’ve gone through, we are very happy that we finally found someone with whom we are confident to work with especially with our music.”

To mark this momentous step in their career, YARA officially made their debut with the release of their single, “ADDA,” along with the official music video for it. “ADDA” meaning, “Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat,” showcases the girls’ badass and totally fierce side highlighting female empowerment. Regarding the song, the girls shared that “ADDA” is the story of YARA – “the song reflects why YARA works hard to strive beyond their limitations and reach for their dreams. YARA wants their audience to know their story, and draw strength from it to conquer their own fears, and learn from YARA’s experiences. YARA wants their listeners to take control of their own lives and dreams.”

The incredibly catchy track was written and composed by YARA’s Kim and produced by Joshua Nase and Michael “Cursebox” Negapatan (Alex Bruce).
