Award-winning actors, Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon, are teaming up for their first movie ever together! The two are set to star in the upcoming film, “Third World Romance,” produced by ABS-CBN Films’ Black Sheep, and directed by Dwein Baltazar. In a special video shared on Twitter, the stars and director reacted to the unveiling of the movie poster, which looks to be a photo of the two lead actors on crumpled paper. Both Charlie and Carlo shared the poster to their own social media pages with the caption, “Sulit pa bang magmahal sa kupal na mundong ‘to?” (Is it still worth it to love in this dull world?).
Both Carlo and Charlie are no strangers to working with Black Sheep as both have previously made movies with the company – Carlo for blockbuster film, “Exes Baggage” and Charlie on “Fan Girl,” which won the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival for Best Picture. Carlo’s latest movie “Seasons” alongside Lovi Poe is currently available to stream on Netflix, while Charlie’s upcoming drama series, “Pira Pirasong Paraiso” is set to premiere on July 25th!
