An exciting team up of Filipino actress, Janella Salvador, and Thai actor, Win Metawin, is happening for their upcoming film, “Under Parallel Skies.” Directed by award-winning Filipino director, Sigrid Bernardo, and shot in Hong Kong, “Under Parallel Skies” follows the story of a man struggling from a painful past, and while he tries to move forward, he discovers that a woman currently in his life, is connected to that past. Viewers can experience a journey of love, heartbreak, and healing through this emotional story.
Regarding the major collaboration between talents from the Philippines and Thailand for this project, Bernardo shared, “With this cross-country collaboration, the actors can bring their own unique skill sets and experiences, which can help enrich the story and give more authenticity to the characters they play. I aim to create a film that celebrates the unique identities and traditions of each culture while also exploring common themes and experiences that unite us as human beings.”
“Under Parallel Skies” will be Metawin’s first international film, while this project follows the success of Salvador’s role in the recent ABS-CBN drama series, “Darna.” Stay tuned for more updates!
