After the success of their debut single, “Rhythm,” P-Pop group, Yes My Love, have returned with their latest track, “Yayakapin.” The group’s new song showcases a sweet and heartwarming sound that sings about feelings derived from real-life situations and cherished moments with your loved ones, and that a hug is all you need. Produced by Gab Tagadtag, “Yayakapin” features Yes My Love’s signature strong vocals and harmonies, factors that have led the group to continuously gain new fans and listeners, aside from their cool visuals and energetically synchronized choreography. The track perfectly conveys the feeling of a warm hug through the members’ airy and clear vocals that brings a sense of closeness and genuine emotion. To assist with this, Yes My Love worked with popular singer/songwriter, Arthur Nery, who helped the group add a specific flair and texture to the track through his adlib lines.
In regards to “Yayakapin,” Josh, Niko, Eli, Brian, Jeff, and RZ shared that “the song reveals a more vulnerable and ‘malambing’ side of the group while maintaining the essence of Yes My Love, which revolves around love and not taking ourselves too seriously. We are immensely grateful and excited for our beloved 143 to finally hear ‘Yayakapin.’ We want this song to become a comforting companion that listeners can play whenever and wherever they desire.”
Yes My Love most recently participated in PPOPCON MANILA 2023, alongside fellow P-Pop groups such as SB19, BINI, BGYO, 1stOne, MNL48 and more, where they performed at both the convention and concert for the first time.
“Yayakapin” is now available on all music streaming platforms – be sure to add it to your playlists, 143!
