WAKEONE has officially announced that the exclusive contracts with their boy group, TO1, will be terminated on December 31, 2023. The agreement between WAKEONE and the members (Donggeon, Chan, Jisu, Jaeyun, J.You, Kyungho, Daigo, and Yeojeong) was reported to have been mutual. The agency’s full statement:

“Hello. This is WAKEONE.

First of all, we sincerely thank TOgether [TO1’s fandom] for your love and support [for] TO1.

After a long, in-depth discussion and consideration, our company and TO1 members Donggeon, Chan, Jisu, Jaeyun, J.You, Kyungho, Daigo, and Yeojeong reached a mutual agreement to terminate our exclusive contract as of December 31, 2023.

We would like to express our apology and gratitude to everyone who has shown nothing but love and care for TO1. We ask for your continuing support and interest for each member’s new journey. We will also sincerely support their bright future.

Thank you once again TOgether for giving endless support and care for TO1.“

TO1 debuted in 2020 after being formed on the Mnet survival show, “World Klass,” under the name TOO. Eventually, they rebranded to TO1 in March 2021 and proceeded to onboard new members in 2022 with Daigo, Renta, and Yeojeong after four of the group’s initial members left. Renta most recently left TO1 in September 2023.
