Bittersweet news coming from camp CALISTA! The P-Pop girl group’s entertainment agency, Merlion Entertainment, released an announcement that CALISTA member, Olive May, will be departing from the group to focus on solo projects and endeavors. The full statement reads:

“As we welcome the new year, we’d like to open a new chapter for everyone.

Olive May, who has been a member of CALISTA, will be departing from the group as Merlion Entertainment and Sparkle GMA Artist Center will now co-manage her as a solo artist.

While the management acknowledges the impact this may have on the group, rest assured that this decision has the management’s guidance and the support of the rest of the CALISTA members.

May you all continue to support both CALISTA and Olive as they embark on this new chapter.”
