G22 is entering a whole new era with their latest track impressing fans and new listeners alike! Following a successful guesting on the Chinese reality competition program, Show It All, where the members performed their hits Babalik and Boomerang, AJ, Alfea, and Jaz released their new soft-pop, refreshing single, One Sided Love.

The track, released under Republic Records PH, dives into the story of a first person narrative where the lyrics detail the hurt they feel as they watch the one they love, show affection for another. “‘Baka sa mundo mo pwede ako sumali, andito ako sa tabi, naghihintay ng paki,’ – That’s my favorite line. It’s because this line shows the strong love of someone for another person, that even if someone you love doesn’t love you back, you still have the heart to continuously love them,” shares Alfea. “I have experienced one sided love, and I didn’t really mind not being loved back, because I am content with loving someone without my feelings being reciprocated.”

Main vocalist Jaz says that “one-sided love can be a teacher. It can show you the depth of your own capacity to care. Just keep your chin up, and know that brighter days are ahead!” The group’s leader AJ, confirms that the track was actually finished in November 2023 and was something that all three members were so excited to work on and release.

The official music video shows the members under a light and youthful aesthetic as they showcase cool choreography and try to win the heart of their love, Joao Constancia.

Showing gratitude to their beloved Bullets (G22’s fan base,) the members share, “We just wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of you, our amazing Bullets. Your constant love and support mean the world to us, and it fuels our passion to keep creating. Thank you for being on this journey with us. We couldn’t do it without you!”
