Members of two of the most loved groups within P-Pop have teamed up for an epic PROD AXIA live performance collaboration! Yes My Love’s Joshua and Brian joined forces with Press Hit Play’s JP and Sev for an unforgettable rendition of Justin Timberlake’s hit song, “Mirrors,” where they showcased their stunning vocals.

According to the official press release regarding the project, Joshua and Brian admitted feeling a nervous excitement prior to the collaboration stating, “We were so excited knowing that we will be collaborating with PHP. They have some of the strongest vocals in P-Pop, and their songs are some of the catchiest in the industry. At the same time, there was a bit of nervousness because their vocals are quite intimidating, but nonetheless, they were very nice and easy to work with.” On the other hand, JP shared that, “I didn’t expect the collab, but
when I found out who we would be working with, I got excited.”
Sev also agreed with anticipation stating, “I was very happy because this was our first time collaborating with another boy group, and the idea of singing another song with other artists just excites me.”

The admiration for one another was revealed through the “Mirrors” collaboration with Joshua praising Press Hit Play, “They are some of the nicest and most talented people we have worked with. Super chill yet efficient. I have no qualms, whatsoever! I look up to them a lot.” The feelings were mutual with Sev stating, “Working with another group was a really nice experience. We got to know them, their stories, how things work on their end, and it was like making new friends and creating new connections.”

In an exclusive chat with Reine Tan of the PROD AXIA team, we asked about what it was like working with the members of Yes My Love and Press Hit Play to which she shared, “It was fun to work with all of them because they are down to earth people who just really love music. These are the type of people we love having at PAP because this show was founded on love and passion for music, so when we have people on the show that show us the same love and passion they have for their music, it becomes a heartwarming and fun project that we remember for a long time. They practiced for this, and worked hard for this, so we really appreciate them coming on the show.” The chemistry on screen was also reflected off screen with the PROD AXIA team seeing how well all four artists got along stating, “Members from both groups admitted that they have never interacted before, it was something we already expected because they come from different sides of P-Pop. This is why we set up a ‘chemistry and rehearsal time’ a few hours before the shoot so they can get to know each other and practice some harmonies. They were able to show love to each other during this time as they both expressed admiration for each other’s talents. During the shoot itself while they were waiting for the director to start shooting, we saw them joking with each other and singing random songs together. We were glad that even though it was their first real interaction, they were really able to hit it off with their shared love for music.

With the genre of P-Pop gaining traction and attention from all over the world, this collaboration is the perfect piece to show off to all current and new fans of P-Pop to truly highlight the exceptional talents of the P-Pop artists and groups. Joshua, Brian, JP, and Sev hope to inspire and convey unity through this project stating, “We want smiles to be radiated through this content. If we’re able to at least make one person smile, then I think we’ve done our part already.” “We want the audience to feel how talented P-Pop is. We want them to see that we can all work together and create great projects. This is Filipino pride,” JP shares. Sev also stated, I personally want them to feel our sincerity with the song because this is our gift to the viewers, as well as, our fans! Also, I want them to realize that P-Pop has so much to offer.”
