Seven-member K-Pop boy group, EVNNE, is kicking off 2025 with their 4th mini-album, HOT MESS. KEITA, PARK HANBIN, LEE JEONGHYEON, YOO SEUNGEON, JI YUNSEO, MUN JUNGHYUN, and PARK JIHOO’s latest body of work includes six new tracks: “HOT MESS” (title track), “Birthday,” “Love Like That,” “CROWN,” “Youth,” and a Korean version of their previously released single “景色 (KESHIKI).” The title track, which members YOO SEUNGEON and PARK JIHOO participated in writing the lyrics of, gives off a free-spirited and laid back choreography as it sings about wishing to live in the moment rather than trying to wade through the abstract and turbulent emotions one may feel. HOT MESS incorporates two main concepts: “Splatter,” which highlights EVNNE’s free and bold energy as they envelope themselves in a variety of colors, and “Sowing,” a more relaxed concept showing the members in a calm, garden-like environment.

The members were heavily involved in the creation of HOT MESS – in addition to YOO SEUNGEON and PARK JIHOO writing for the title track, SEUNGEON also wrote the song “Youth,” and JI YUNSEO wrote lyrics for “Love Like That.” Member KEITA took care of the composition for “景色 (KESHIKI).”
