FNC Entertainment, home to P1Harmony and SF9, officially debuted their newest boy group, AMPERS&ONE, back in November 2023 through their album, “AMPERSAND ONE,” which features three tracks, “”Sheesh,” “Sweet and Sour,” and title track, “On And On.” Consisting of members Kamden, Brian, Jiho, Siyun, Kyrell, Mackiah, and Seungmo, AMPERS&ONE come from various parts of the world, including – South Korea, America, Canada, China, and Australia, all coming together for their love of music and dancing.
In an exclusive interview with Arambulo Live, AMPERS&ONE shared the story behind the unique group name, their debut album, automatic connection and friendship, fellow K-Pop artists they’d like to collab with and so much more!

Arambulo Live (AL): Congratulations on your debut! How does it feel to finally experience this special moment after working so hard to get to this point?
SEUNGMO: It’s so happy to meet our fans and trying our best for our stages.
BRIAN: It feels so good to finally debut after all the hard work.
KAMDEN: I’m so happy to see fans again and like I wanna perform right now!
AL: What kind of preparations did the group have to make leading up to the debut?
SEUNGMO: We practiced a lot as a team.
BRIAN: We practiced night and day, and had to do a lot of team bonding fast because our group was made really quick.
AL: The group name, AMPERS&ONE, is so interesting and unique – what’s the story behind the name?
KAMDEN: There is no special behind story but its special how each member came to the company by themselves and we gathered as AMPERS&ONE.
AL: Which track on the album would you consider your favorite and why?
SEUNGMO: I like ‘Sheesh’ the most because it shows our freshness and the dance is also fun.
BRIAN: Sweet-and-sour is my favorite because it really suits my soft voice.
KYRELL: Everyone already knows On and On is great so I’ll say Sweet and Sour because it’s a very romantic and relatable song.
AL: The “On and On” music video looks like it was so much fun to film, do you have any behind the scenes stories from the shoot that you can share with your fans?
SEUNGMO: There is a scene where I’m running away from the teacher, and the teacher was REALLY scary so I ran away for real.
BRIAN: Our first music video shooting we had Korean pork barbecue for dinner and it was so good.
AL: The concept is definitely fresh and bright, perfect for a debut track/album! What is a dream concept you’d like to see the group do?
BRIAN: I kind of want to try an emotional concept or a sexy concept because I think it would be cool.
AL: With the members coming from so many different parts of the world, what kind of adjustments did you have to make to ensure a solid connection and genuine friendship? How do the members bond aside from working on music together?
SEUNGMO: We all play sports or have a meal together.
BRIAN: To be honest, even though we’re from different parts of the world we clicked instantly. We go to eat together, and go bowling together.
KAMDEN: When we are in the waiting room we play games before stages so no one can be nervous and be ready for the stages.
AL: Are there any fellow K-Pop groups or artists you’d like to collaborate with?
SEUNGMO: I want to collaborate with N-Flying because their band sound and the groovy vibe of AMPERS&ONE will harmonize very well.
BRIAN: Jungkook from BTS or Justin Bieber.
AL: What are the main goals and dreams of AMPERS&ONE? What kind of achievements would you like to have accomplished in five years time?
SEUNGMO: Rookie of the year, First place in the music show, oversea tours.
BRIAN: I’d like to perform at Times Square on New Year’s.
AL: Message for their supporters and new fans?
SEUNGMO: AMPERS&ONE have different charms of each individual and we will show how we develop over the years, so keep an eye on us.
