The whole world was shocked when the tragic news of actor and dancer, Cameron Boyce’s, sudden passing hit the media. At just 20 years old, Cameron has made a major impact through his appearances on major productions such as Grown-Ups 1 and 2, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer, Disney Channel’s Jessie, and his most recent project, The Descendants movies. 

His most notable character as Luke, on Disney’s ‘Jessie’, brought joy and many laughs to children and their families. Those who have worked with him throughout his years in entertainment, acknowledge his bubbly and bright personality that could light up any room. Cameron used his voice to speak about relevant causes that made those and the world around him a better place. Many described him as a budding humanitarian and advocate for the less fortunate.

Cameron’s father, Victor Boyce, recently shared a Tweet regarding his son’s foundation. The Boyce family launches this foundation in his honor to provide creative outlets to young people. The Cameron Boyce Foundation’s aim according to the charity is to provide, “young people artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity and uses resources and philanthropy for positive change in the world.” Through this, Cameron is able to leave his mark on the world. Let us spread positivity through helping others in order to keep his legacy alive.
