Exciting news for ReVeluvs and Wendy fans everywhere! The talented artist is confirmed to be preparing for her solo debut! Her company, SM Entertainment, stated: “Wendy is working on a solo album aimed for an April release. Please look forward to it.” This would mark the first soloist coming out of Red Velvet, as we have previously seen duo Irene and Seulgi work as a unit back in 2020. Devastatingly back in 2019 during rehearsal for SBS Gayo Daejeon, Wendy experienced an injury that caused her to take a long break from activities. Since then, we’ve seen her on variety show “Mystical Record Shop” as well as her long-awaited comeback performance with Red Velvet at SMTOWN concert.
