The CW’s brand new series, “Kung Fu” will be premiering tonight, April 7th! Starring Olivia Liang, the show is a re-imagining of the 1970’s series of the same name. “Kung Fu” is breaking barriers as it features a female Asian lead and an almost all-Asian cast. Olivia will play the character of Nicky Shen, a young Chinese-American woman experiencing a quarter-life crisis, and decides to drop out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China. Trouble ensues when she returns to San Francisco, where she finds her hometown is overrun with crime and corruption and her parents are held hostage by a powerful Triad.
