From the stage to the big screen, the trailer for the highly anticipated film “In The Heights” was released during last night’s Academy Awards broadcast. Written by Lin Manuel Miranda and directed by Jon M. Chu, the story is set in New York’s Dominican neighborhood of Washington Heights following the life of Usnavi de la Vega, played by Anthony Ramos, and spends his days dreaming about a better life. Alongside Anthony, the cast includes Corey Hawkins, Melissa Barrera, Leslie Grace, Olga Merediz, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Gregory Diaz IV, Stephanie Beatriz, Dascha Polanco and Jimmy Smits. “In The Heights” will be available to watch in theaters and HBO Max on June 11!
