The BTS ARMY have been counting down the days until BTS’ newest single “Butter” is released, and while we knew of the schedule prior to its release, the group made a surprise announcement that they would be performing it for the very first time at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards! To make this year’s BBMA’s even more special for the guys, they are nominated for 4 awards, which is the most nominations they’ve received since the beginning of their attendance at the award show. Their nominations are for: Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Selling Song and Top Social Artist which is fan-voted! The group has won “Top Social Artist” four years in a row now and we don’t see that ending anytime soon. In preparation for the release, BTS have been dropping teasers for this highly-anticipated comeback and most recently shared teaser photos for members: Jungkook, RM, Jin and SUGA with j-hope, Jimin and V’s photos coming out within the next few days. “Butter” will be the group’s second English-language single, right after their smash hit “Dynamite,” and is set to drop on May 21st.
