Jo Koy To Star In And Executive Produce ABC’s “Josep”

Known for his stand-up comedy centered around his Filipino culture, comedian Jo Koy is taking his humor to TV sitcom as it has just been announced that he will be starring in and executive producing ABC’s newest show, “Josep.” The half-hour show, which is currently in development, will follow the life of a hardworking Filipino-American nurse navigating dating, fatherhood and his mother moving in with him. Jo Koy has garnered fans from all over the world through his successful Netflix shows: Jo Koy: Live From Seattle, Jo Koy: Comin’ In Hot and Jo Koy: In His Elements. Aside from “Josep,” Jo Koy is working on “Easter Sunday” which he will also be starring in and executive producing. The project is based on the stand-up comedy and life experiences of Jo Koy, and will be set around a family gathering to celebrate Easter Sunday. The show will also star Tia Carrere, Eugene Cordero and Asif Ali.
