“Spiderman” Star Jacob Batalon To Lead New Syfy Series “Reginald The Vampire”

From playing “Ned” on the “Spiderman” films to now starring in a dramedy with vampires, Jacob Batalon is making moves in the industry! The Hollywood Reporter announced that Jacob is set to star in Syfy’s upcoming show “Reginald the Vampire,” based on the “Fat Vampire” series by author Johnny B. Truant. While a premiere date has not been confirmed, the show will be an hour long drama-comedy series scheduled for 10 episodes. “Reginald the Vampire” will revolve around the story of Reginald Baskin who ends up in a world “populated by beautiful, fit and vain vampires as an unlikely hero who will have to navigate every kind of obstacle – the girl he loves but can’t be with, a bully manager at work and the vampire chieftain who wants him dead.
