In honor of their fifth anniversary, BLACKPINK released their film “BLACKPINK The Movie” as a limited engagement event worldwide. On August 17, CJ 4DPLEX and Trafalgar Releasing announced that the film has become the highest-grossing event cinema release of 2021 and that it has already grossed $4.8 million from almost 100 territories since it’s August 4 release. While certain safety restrictions due to the pandemic are being lifted in Southeast Asia, the movie is scheduled to be released in more countries towards the end of the month, which will add to the number of 500,000 moviegoers worldwide! “BLACKPINK The Movie” highlights the stories of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa as well as their epic concert performances.
