ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo trended on social media after his big win at the Brand of the Year Awards, where the singer/actor nabbed the “Acting Idol of the Year” Award! The Brand of the Year Awards is a mid-year award ceremony hosted by the Korean Consumer Brand Committee and is managed by the Korean Consumer Forum. The criteria for the awards range from the brand reputation of famous personalities and brands to surveys that consider consumer preferences of various brands. The Entertainment category is the most-awaited and highly-anticipated portion, since many popular K-Pop idols and actors are nominated. Eun-woo most recently starred as the fan favorite character of Lee Suho in “True Beauty” and is currently working on the project titled “Island” where he will play Kang Chan Hyuk in its first season.
