Netflix’s “Squid Game” is undoubtedly the biggest hit of 2021, and its success is now being reflected by nabbing nominations for major award shows! Today, it was announced that the show and its globally famous actors have made history for racking up four Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations, making them the first non-English/Korean series to earn a nomination. “Squid Game” is up for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television series, Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and its stars Lee Jung-jae and Jung Ho-yeon, have been nominated for Outstanding Performance by Male Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Performance by Female Actor in a Drama Series, respectively.
