The talents of Filipino-American artists were heavily highlighted at this year’s Grammy Awards! Olivia Rodrigo, Bruno Mars of Silk Sonic, and H.E.R. were all major winners at “music’s biggest night” held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, April 3rd. Silk Sonic (which is comprised of Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak) took home a whopping four Grammys for their hit song, “Leave The Door Open,” with awards for Best R&B Song, Best R&B Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. Viral sensation, Olivia Rodrigo, attended her first Grammy show and won three awards out of the seven she was nominated for – the 19-year-old swept up awards for Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance for “Drivers License,” and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Sour.” H.E.R. was also a hit at the globally watched award show, where she won Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Fight For You.” All 3 artists were not only big winners, but performers during the show, with each of their stages garnering positive reactions from viewers all over the world.
