FIFTY FIFTY’s single album, The Beginning: Cupid, is officially out! Serving as a prequel to their debut album, the press release states that, “the single album is about the feeling of a great sense of separation between the ideal world filled bright hopes and the reality where things don’t always work out as intended, told through a story about relying on Cupid as the group’s problem solver. However, within the song, the members realize they do not need Cupid and must take the initiative to overcome fear and transform into a new version of themselves. It’s a song that marks the start of the girls’ journey, maturing and growing into their own.”
Members ARAN and SAENA shared their excitement regarding the release, “I received a lot of positive energy while preparing for this album. Given that the main message of the song is about taking the initiative to be in charge of ourselves, I tried my best to keep up a positive mindset despite the difficulties and challenges I faced throughout the preparation period. I hope everyone can get motivated by listening to this song as much as I did!,” shares ARAN, while SAENA unveiled the story behind the creation during their busy schedule stating, “Right after our debut, we stayed busy as we prepared for a new album within a short period of time. We practiced hard and did our best, hoping to put on a flawless performance on upcoming stages. I hope people can look forward to our brand-new look! Also, I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our team for allowing us to come back with great music.”

K-Pop girl group, FIFTY FIFTY, has just released the official music video for their latest single, “CUPID,” where we see Aran, Keena, Saena, and Sio looking for love in various places. “CUPID” is the title song to FIFTY FIFTY’s forthcoming 1st single album, “The Beginning: Cupid,” which is set to drop on February 24th.
Aside from releasing new music, the rookie girl group also announced the official name of their fan base – HUNNIES! The name has two meanings in which the group explained, “One of the meanings of FIFTY FIFTY combines the members and their fans in which the first ’50’ or ‘half’ represents the fans, and the other ‘half’ presents themselves. Combining those two makes 100 or a ‘whole.’” And the second meaning of the name is alluded to the word, “honey,” a term of endearment used between loved ones. Along with the announcement, the group shared a message to their HUNNIES stating, “To HUNNIES, who is joining us on our new start! Let’s only create good memories. Thank you to all the HUNNIES who participated in our fan club name contest.”
