What a night to remember, indeed! ABS-CBN and Star Magic gave their young bright stars an entire prom experience – with some attendees experiencing the coming-of-age event for the first time – at the first-ever “Star Magical Prom.” Held at The Bellevue Hotel, tons of Star Magic’s newest talent showed up in their best suits and dresses following the event’s theme of Netflix’s hit show – “Bridgerton.” Walking on the ivory carpet were childhood stars all grown-up: Jana Agoncillo (Ningning) and Raikko Mateo (Honesto), tons of cast members from PBB and Dream Maker, AC Bonifacio, Anji Salvacion, SAB, Angela Ken, popular love teams such as: ViBrent, KoDrea, AlJay, FranSeth, and DonBelle, global musical acts: BGYO, BINI, and HORI7ON and so much more! The pre-show, hosted by VJ Ai Dela Cruz, saw all of the stars looking absolutely stunning entering the beautifully decorated foyer filled with flowers and lit up “Star Magical Prom” signs as the backdrop.

Throughout the evening, hosted by Edward Barber, ABS-CBN bosses, clients, fellow artists and fans (via livestream) had the opportunity to get to know batches of Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Star Magic talent through quick video packages, speeches, and performances. Leading up to the day of the actual prom, “promposals” went viral online of various Star Magic artists asking each other to the event. With this, awards were handed out on the evening of prom to Jeremiah Lisbo and Kaori Oinuma (2nd Runner Up for Best Promposal), Andrea Brillantes and Ricci Rivero (Most Creative Promposal and Best Promposal), and the big winners of the evening – Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz (FranSeth) who won 1st Runner Up for “Best Promposal,” “Most Kilig Promposal,” and “”Most Viewed Promposal.” The “Star Magical Prom” also had a special program for the beautiful ladies who celebrated their Sweet 16 and Debut (18th birthday) in the past year.

Following the flow of what actually happens at prom, the event highlighted Prom Princes and Princesses, as well as the highly coveted Prom King and Prom Queen titles. Raikko Mateo and Krystal Mejes took the title of “Freshman Prince and Princess,” while Mackie Empuerto and Jayda won “Sophomore Prince and Princess,” Reiven Umali and Anji Salvacion were named “Junior Prince and Princess,” with Brent Manalo and Vivoree dubbed as the winners of “Senior Prince and Princess.” The beloved team up of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano took the duo to the top winning the grand title of “Prom King and Prom Queen.”

Although being their very first year, we think it’s safe to say that we can see a “Star Magical Prom” as an annual event moving forward! Check out a few of the photos from the event down below as well as the full livestream.
