Popular actor, Donny Pangilinan, is all set to star in the upcoming e-sports themed film, “GG,” where he will act alongside his real-life mom, Maricel Laxa, who will play the role of his on-screen mother. Donny took to Instagram to share the official teaser trailer for the movie (where he’ll be portraying the character of Seth, an aspiring gamer) with the caption, “Playing Soon. #GGTHEMOVIE.” Directed by Prime Cruz, “GG” will showcase Donny’s acting skills in a new light as he’ll be playing a character that he has not had the chance to portray yet on-screen. “GG” also stars veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez, Baron Geisler, and Igi Boy Flores with the release date to be announced.
Aside from “GG,” Donny has been busy working on his upcoming television series, “Can’t Buy Me Love,” with the other half of his “DonBelle” love team, Belle Mariano. “Can’t Buy Me Love” will premiere on ABS-CBN this year.
