Mega-group, SB19, continue to see their career and global music opportunities move forward on an upward trajectory, and this includes their latest collaboration with “golden hour” hitmaker, JVKE. After surpassing a whopping one billion streams, the producer celebrated the milestone by surprising fans and releasing a new remixed version of the track with P-Pop superstars, SB19, where we see a beautiful bilingual version of the song with the original English lyrics, combined with the new lyrics in Tagalog on top of the stunning instrumental that includes strings and piano sounds. “golden hour” is a track that portrays itself as a classic love song that highlights the feelings of romance and beauty, and the tantalizing vocals of JVKE and SB19 perfectly create this time-stopping moment. 

Regarding the unexpected remix, SB19 shared, “It’s something else when there’s a collaboration of two cultures, which is what happened when we collaborated with JVKE. It’s really special how the embedded culture in each of us affects how we write songs and how we portray our experiences in a song, and we’re glad that we’re able to include some parts of our Filipino culture in this song.” To top off their thoughts on the collab, JVKE added, “SB19 are crazy talented. As an artist, when I open my art to others so they can add their own interpretation, I never know how im going to feel about what they contribute. With SB19, I was just blown away. I hope this isn’t that last time we work together.” 

SB19 tops off the star-studded lineup at this year’s PPOPCON MANILA 2023 which includes a weekend full of meet and greets, performances, fan events, and an epic concert highlighting the best of the best in the ever-growing genre of P-Pop.
