In an official announcement made by the film’s social media account, “Lisa Frankenstein,” has finally revealed its release date! The movie marks Liza Soberano’s Hollywood film debut and is set to premiere on February 9, 2024 as she stars alongside Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Henry Eikenberry, Joey Harris, and more. Liza’s casting was announced in August of 2022 and is set to play the role of Taffy, the step-sister to Kathryn Newton’s character, Lisa.
The story takes place in 1989 and follows the story of Lisa Frankenstein, an unpopular high school student who accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams, using the broken tanning bed in her garage.
