Since their debut back in 2022 under Global H Media, K-Pop boy group, TRENDZ, are leading the way for the upcoming generation through the stories of their life journey. Aside from their inspirational music, HAVIT, LEON, YOONWOO, HANKOOK, ra.L, EUNIL, and YECHAN are living up to their group name by participating in philanthropic causes, even being appointed as the Red Cross Youth (RCY) ambassador for the Korean Red Cross as well as becoming the Global Eco-Friendly Public Relations ambassador for Sustainable World Network.
As the group continues to make positive changes and stand as good role models, they’ve included this message throughout their 3rd single album, “STILL ON MY WAY,” which shares the stories of the members all growing, moving forward, and running towards their dreams. The 3rd single album features three brand-new tracks from the group, including: “ven conmingo,” “O.Y.E.” and the album’s title track, “MY WAY.” Throughout the new album, the members were also able to showcase their songwriting skills! HANKOOK, ra.L, and YECHAN participated in the writing for “ven conmingo,” while they also teamed up to create the lyrics for the track, “O.Y.E.” For the title track, “MY WAY,” a drum/bass clad song, was written by members ra.L and YECHAN.
In an exciting collaboration with TRENDZ and Helix Publicity via a roundtable chat with the group and fellow media outlets, Arambulo Live was able to ask the members about which track they considered was the most difficult/challenging to create, to which Eunil responded with: “Creating “MY WAY” was a challenging process because we aimed to convey a wide range of emotions within a single song. The intro had to capture a dreamy atmosphere, the pre-chorus needed to build and layer emotions, and the chorus had to be powerful to showcase our strength in dynamic performances. Balancing all of these elements within one song was very challenging.” The group is also set to go on their first world tour which will take them to various stops most K-Pop groups haven’t included on their list of cities to visit during a tour. We asked TRENDZ about being the group forging a new path in terms of adding new cities to the tour list and living up to their name of being trendsetters. Eunil represented the group’s humility by responding with, “Our choice of locations for performances is not about trying to set trends, but rather about wanting to connect with our FRIENDZs all around the world and create unforgettable memories with them. We are driven by the desire to show our appreciation for the love and support we receive from our fans, and that’s why we select our performance locations based on where our FRIENDZs are.”
