Pop royalty indeed! Sarah Geronimo becomes the first-ever musical artist hailing from the Philippines to be honored at the Billboard Women In Music Event on March 6th in Los Angeles, CA. The singer/actress took home the Global Force award which recognizes international talent that made an impact in the music industry; Sarah is one of the very first recipients of this award alongside Italy’s Annalisa and Brazil’s Luísa Sonza. Geronimo’s career skyrocketed in 2003 at the age of 14 when she was crowned the winner of the singing competition, “Star For A Night,” and her star continues to shine even brighter 20+ years later!

Known in the Philippines as “Popstar Royalty,” Sarah was beyond grateful to be honored at the special award ceremony thanking Billboard, her family, husband – Matteo Guidicelli, and her fans. She also dedicated the meaningful award “on behalf of every excellent Filipino artist back home and all over the world.”
