Hip-Hop/R&B girl group, XG, makes a groundbreaking comeback for their fifth single and music video for “WOKE UP”. The single defines XG’s status as profound artists who provide unique rap performances and a strong hip-hop identity, featuring 808 bass and distinctive East Asian sounds. Since their debut in March 2022, JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA and COCONA have continuously displayed their ever-growing skills and talent in their artistry, and this is cemented through “WOKE UP”.

The cinematic music video accompanying the track showcases a whole new concept of the members dressed as wolves, breaking stereotypes and boundaries in their own ways, symbolizing the beginning of a rebranded and stronger XG, intertwined with a transcendent and mystical presence.

This past weekend, the girl group performed 22 songs for sold out audiences at their first shows which are included in their first world tour, “XG 1st World Tour ‘The First Howl'” at the Osaka-Jo Hall and featured exclusive cover songs unique to the Japan shows, newly arranged versions of their tracks, songs from their viral “XG TAPE” rap content series and “XG VOX” vocal content series. XG also announced that apart from their confirmed concert dates in East and Southeast Asia, they will also hold shows in Greater China, North America, Oceania, South America, and Europe.
