Japanese boy group ONE OR EIGHT is gearing up for their official debut schedule for August 16 where they will release their highly-anticipated first single. This exciting move comes after the viral success of their hit performance video, “KAWASAKI,” which dropped in June and has since gained more than 10 million views!
Not much information has been released on the group’s identity, but it has been confirmed that the name ONE OR EIGHT comes from a traditional Japanese phrase that means “All or Nothing” as they promote the tagline of “Bet on yourself.” The group is expected to make waves in the industry as they infuse hip-hop, pop, and their Japanese culture through their choreography, lyrics, and visuals. ONE OR EIGHT consists of members MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA, and YUGA.
Aside from their debut, fans can also look forward to a brand film set to be released on YouTube titled, “ONE OR EIGHT / Brand Film: “All or Nothing,” which will highlight the group’s visions and goals for their future as well as provide a glimpse of ONE OR EIGHT’s unique world.
