Following an incredibly successful 2024 with the release of his album, Found Heaven, and its accompanying tour, Conan Gray is entering a whole new era this year! On May 29th, the singer-songwriter dropped his newest single, “This Song,” as well as the music video co-starring actor, Corey Fogelmanis, which showcases a stunning movie-esque visual telling an intimate story of unspoken desire. Like all of his other music, the track is written by Conan himself and is produced by Ethan Gruska, while the music video was directed by Danica Kleinknecht. “This Song” is the kick-off for Conan’s new musical era with his forthcoming album titled, Wishbone, which is set to drop on August 15th via Republic Records.
Conan is set to take his fans on a journey with Wishbone as he will be sharing his stories of falling in love for the first time through the form of songs on the album. Aside from his relatable and likeable personality in real life and special connection with his fanbase, listeners have genuinely fallen in love with Conan’s songwriting and storytelling as he continues to reel in fans from all over the world. The track list for Wishbone has been unveiled and includes 12 songs: “Actor,” “This Song,” “Vodka Cranberry,” “Romeo,” “My World,” “Class Clown,” “Nauseous,” “Caramel,” “Connell,” “Sunset Tower,” “Eleven Eleven,” and “Care.”
Aside from the release of a whole new album, Conan will also be going on tour! The entirety of Wishbone will be performed for the first time live on this upcoming tour, Conan Gray: The Wishbone Pajama Show with special guest hemlocke springs, and will take Conan to 19 cities, including 3 cities in Mexico. Conan took to social media to make the announcement and encouraged fans to “pack your sailor caps and pajama pants… pajamas encouraged but not required.” Fans can sign up for the Artist Presale now through June 1 at 10PM PT here. The Artist Presale will begin on June 3 at 10am local time and run through June 5 at 9am local time, while the general sale will begin June 5th at 10 am local time.
