Fans of the To All the Boys universe have another reason to tune in to the upcoming season of XO, Kitty as Lana Condor is officially joining the series. The actress will reprise her beloved role as Lara Jean Song Covey in the show’s third season, reuniting on-screen with Anna Cathcart, who plays her younger sister Kitty Song Covey.
Netflix confirmed that Condor will appear in multiple episodes of the new season, marking the first time she has played Lara Jean since the 2021 film To All the Boys: Always and Forever. Her appearance brings the popular franchise full circle, giving fans a long-awaited reunion between the Song-Covey sisters.
The teen romantic comedy series, a spin-off of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film trilogy, follows Kitty as she moves to Seoul to attend the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) while navigating friendships, family, and complicated love interests. Season 3 of XO, Kitty is set to premiere on Netflix on April 2, 2026, continuing Kitty’s story as she returns for her senior year and faces new challenges in both her relationships and future plans.
The original To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise, starring Condor as hopeless romantic Lara Jean Covey, became a global hit for Netflix when it debuted in 2018. The film’s success spawned two sequels and eventually led to the creation of XO, Kitty, expanding the story through the adventures of Lara Jean’s younger sister.
With Condor returning to the franchise that launched her into international fame, the upcoming season promises a heartfelt family reunion that longtime fans won’t want to miss!
