Christmas came early for MEI MEI! The rising P-pop girl group is bringing the spirit of a traditional Filipino Christmas to the music scene with their newest single, “Namamasko Po,” while celebrating another exciting milestone after taking home their first award at the 11th P-Pop Music Awards.

Released on October 9, “Namamasko Po” puts a playful, modern pop spin on one of the Philippines’ most beloved holiday traditions: going door to door to sing Christmas carols and receive aguinaldo. Complete with catchy melodies and festive rhythms, the single captures the warmth, fun, and generosity that make Paskong Pinoy special.

The song also brings a familiar Filipino experience to a new generation of listeners, inviting everyone to embrace the holiday spirit through music. Its lyrics reflect the playful nature of Christmas caroling, while the upbeat production gives the traditional practice a fresh P-pop twist. Composed and executive-produced by Happee Sy, with arrangements and production by Dominic Benedicto, the track continues MEI MEI’s signature approach of celebrating Filipino culture through novelty pop.

The release follows the success of the group’s debut single, “Telebong (Hello Po),” and its sophomore track, “Alembong.” With “Namamasko Po,” MEI MEI continues to establish their identity through music inspired by everyday Filipino expressions and experiences, giving listeners another reason to add the group to their playlists this holiday season.
