What time is it?! It’s HSMTMTS time! Disney + has finally announced the premiere date for season 2 of the hit series – High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Mark your calendars for May 14th, because the East High Wildcats are back! The premise for the new season will find the Wildcats facing off against their rivals, North High, in a cutthroat student theater competition while gearing up for their spring musical Beauty and the Beast. It has also been announced that Broadway vet Andrew Barth Feldman and Asher Angel will be joining the cast this season. Series regulars Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornet, Sofia Wylie, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Joe Serafini, Mark St. Cyr and Kate Reinders will all reprise their roles.
