The Concert King, Martin Nievera and Asia’s Nightingale, Lani Misalucha are teaming up once again, but this time, in a stage setting they’ve never experienced before! Due to the global pandemic, many artists and entertainers are taking to social media and virtual platforms to conduct concerts and events, and this now includes two of OPM’s legends. The virtual concert experience happening at The Theatre at Solaire will be streaming worldwide on KTX.ph, IWantTFC, TFC IPTV on June 6 (8 PM Manila Time) with tickets priced at P2,500 for VIP and P1,200 for regular.

We had the chance to attend the global press conference with Martin and Lani as they shared their thoughts on this “new normal” format of concerts and shows, Martin speaking up about lessons he’s learned from his father, and Lani even tearfully sharing how due to some health issues she experienced in the latter part of last year, she has even considered quitting showbiz altogether. When we had the opportunity to chat with Martin and Lani, Arambulo Live’s host, Nikki, asked about the key to the longevity of their careers in which both have been so successful for many years. Nikki also shared a special memory she holds dear of when she met the concert king at an event back in the day, with the singer even remembering the moment! “New Day” will also feature guest artists, OPM hitmakers, Rey Valera, Nonoy Zuniga and Marco Sison. The concert will be helmed by Paolo Valenciano with Louie Ocampo as the musical director.
