YouTuber Bretman Rock is back with a new show titled, “30 Days With: Bretman Rock”. The four-part documentary type series will follow Bretman into the jungle as he spends a week trying to survive in the wilderness alone. While it seems like a far-fetched idea, the reason Bretman wanted to challenge himself in this way was actually in honor of his father. In the first episode of the show, he shares that, “I owe so much of who I am today ’cause of my dad. He accepted me for being gay. He encouraged me to be myself. He told me I could do anything. He made me feel like I could do anything. For a long time, I’ve been telling myself that that pain is gone and that I don’t blame myself anymore, but I still do. This whole experience, I hope I find myself, to reconnect with Bret. I feel like I’ve been Bretman Rock for so long.” Another reason why he wanted to spend time in the jungle was to also go back to his roots, as he has always been vocal about his life and experiences back in the Philippines.
