KZ Tandingan Releases First International Single “11:59”

For the first time in her epic nine-year career, Filipino singer/songwriter KZ Tandingan has released her first international single, “11:59.” KZ kicked off her professional music career back in 2012 as the winner of the first season of “The X Factor Philippines,” which she took the time to think back on during the global media conference for the new track. “After my ’X Factor’ stint in 2012, the dream was always to go international. The dream was always to represent the country in the world stage of music. Now, after nine years, I get to release ‘11:59’ which is my first international single. It’s something that I will remember for the rest of my life,” says KZ. “11:59” is KZ’s first release under Tarsier Records and is a song produced by Grammy-winning producer Luigie “Lugo” Gonzalez, along with Paulino Lorenzo, and Idrise Ward-El. The track is about the dilemma of giving a partner in a relationship one final chance, and the music video reflects that emotion perfectly as it’s set in various mysterious and dark rooms as she sings to her partner. KZ is also the prominent voice that represents the Philippines on a global stage as she made waves internationally back in March, for singing “Gabay,” the first-ever Filipino-language song released by Disney for its animated film, “Raya and the Last Dragon.” Check out the official music video down below and be sure to listen to “11:59” available now on all music streaming platforms!
