K-Pop Girl Group (G)I-DLE Returns With 5th Mini-Album And MV For “Nxde”

K-Pop girl group, (G)I-DLE makes a huge comeback with their fifth mini-album titled, “I love,” showcasing new and stunning visuals as all members don light hair colors for a more mature and edgier concept. “I love” focuses on three concepts: the ‘ACT’ concept – which portrays the double-sidedness of love; the ‘BORN’ concept – that highlights the group’s visuals inspired by Marilyn Monroe; and the “X-FILE” concept, which shows what lies under artists who are loved by everybody. Executive produced by the group’s leader and rapper, Jeon Soyeon, as well as the members contributing to songwriting on all of the tracks, “I love” impressively showcases the various talents of the group. The mini-album features various genres from pop, rock, indie-pop, and more. Headlining (G)I-DLE’s fifth mini-album is the title track, “Nxde,” with an accompanying music video sharing a message of “staying true to myself.” According to the official press release, “Nxde” is an alternative pop song that features the melody of ‘Habanera,’ a popular aria from Georges Bizet’s classic opera, “Carmen.” As of writing, the music video for “Nxde” is at 21+ million views and is trending #12 on YouTube Music!
