SEVENTEEN’s Vernon Announces First Solo Mixtape “Black Eye” To Release On December 23rd

Vernon of powerhouse group, SEVENTEEN, has announced that he will be releasing his very first solo mixtape titled “Black Eye” on December 23rd.The surprise news was posted to the group’s social media platforms unveiling the mixtape’s artwork, release date, and title. Vernon will be the third member of SEVENTEEN to release a solo mixtape following HOSHI’s “Spider,” which dropped in April 2021, and WOOZI’s “Ruby,” released in January 2022. The hip-hop unit member has been keeping busy this year aside from his projects with his famous group – Vernon had the opportunity to collaborate with Charli XCX on a remix of “Beg For You,” have a feature in Omega Sapien’s track, “Wrecker,” and released a series of his personal stories through Dive Studios’ “Mindset” app. 

Vernon, along with the rest of SEVENTEEN, are close to wrapping up their world tour, “Be The Sun,” which began in August of this year. The group most recently made an appearance and performed a high-energy stage at Los Angeles’ LA3C festival this past weekend ahead of their trip to Japan for the AAA awards 2 days later.
