A huge congratulations are in order for K-Pop girl group, TWICE! Billboard has just announced the award recipients for Billboard Women in Music 2023 and the music act is confirmed to fly out to Los Angeles to receive the “Breakthrough” award in person. This event is described as an opportunity to recognize music’s rising artists, creator, producers, and executives for their contributions to the industry and community.
Billboard Women in Music 2023 will take place on March 1st at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. Pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase to American Express card members on January 31 and February 1, and tickets for the public to go live on February 3rd. While performers and additional talent are yet to be announced, it’s safe to say that we can expect the following to attend: Quinta Brunson (confirmed host of the event), Becky G (Impact Award), Doechii (Rising Star Award), Ivy Queen (Icon Award), Kim Petras (Chartbreaker Awards), Lainey Wilson (Rulebreaker Award), Lana Del Ray (Visionary Award), and TWICE for the “Breakthrough Award.” It can be noted that TWICE is the only other group aside from Fifth Harmony to receive an award at the prestigious event.
