
P-Pop boy group, 1ST.ONE, has made a powerful comeback through their latest single, “Problem Child.” Showcasing a new look and sound, ACE, Max, Alpha, J, Joker, and Jayson make their return as “villains” in the official music video for the track, which is said to have had a ₱20 million ($366k) budget and is produced by Korean company, CHECK, noted to have worked with global music acts: BTS, BLACKPINK, and EXO. “Problem Child” provides a cinematic vibe as the members not only showcase their strength in choreography, vocals, and rap – but also, acting!
1ST.ONE, known to spread particular messages through their songs, continue this through “Problem Child,” a track about inequality within society. Throughout the video, we see the members as “villains” working to ultimately do the right thing. The P-Pop genre is surely taking over on a global scale, and 1ST.ONE’s latest release has just added to this movement. It was most recently announced that the group will be performing on the PPOPCON stage for the second year in a row, exciting FORONE all around the world.
