Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano (also known as “DonBelle”) and the P-Pop Kings, SB19 – arguably – dominated the year 2022. With tons of projects and events (including multiple shows abroad) and winning awards left and right, it was no surprise to see DonBelle and SB19 rack up the most wins at the 4th VP Choice Awards held on March 29th. Produced by Red Entertainment Inc. and Village Pipol, the VP Choice Awards acknowledges the “pipol’s” favorites, from the lifestyle, travel, entertainment, technology, and business industries.

DonBelle won a total of six awards at the 4th VP Choice Awards including: Loveteam of the Year, Movie of the Year (An Inconvenient Love), Movie Actor of The Year (Donny Pangilinan), Movie Actress of the Year (Belle Mariano), Fandom of the Year (Bubblies), and Headliner of the Year (Belle Mariano). Matching up Donny and Belle’s wins are SB19 who also took home six awards including: Group Performer of the Year – Hall of Fame, P-Pop Song of the Year (WYAT – Where You At), Music Video of the Year (WYAT – Where You At), Composer of the Year (John Paulo Nase/Pablo), Male TikTok Face of the Year (Stellvester Ajero), and Fashion Influencer of the Year (Ken Suson).

Other notable wins include Kathyn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla as TV Actress and Actor of the Year, respectively, and TV Series of the Year for “2 Good 2 Be True.” P-Pop group, VXON, won VP/Spotlight of the Year, with fellow boy group BGYO, nabbing the Group Performer of the Year award. KD Estrada took home the Promising Male Star of the Year award, with Anji Salvacion winning the female counterpart, Promising Female Star of the Year award.
