Multi-awarded artist, Juan Karlos, returns with passionate new track, “may halaga pa ba ako sayo??,” following the release of his 2022 song, “Shot Puno.” Karlos’ latest single follows the story of a love lost, while painfully questioning his self-worth and if that love ever meant anything. Regarding the meaning of the track, he shares, “I guess for the song, and for the way I wrote the lyrics, I’m not using metaphorical styles. Although I love metaphors so much, it was more straight to the point. It’s a question, and it’s my thoughts…the way I wrote it, it was super communicative, just talking to the person I wrote it for.”

The instrumental for the song perfectly embodies its meaning, with the musical arrangement described as a “downward spiral,” taking the song’s listeners into a journey of grief, anger and hearing nothing back. Juan Karlos shares, “It’s heavy, it’s going down—which is basically an auditory representation of spiraling down. And eventually, it’s tiring. It’s tiring to listen to it because it’s heavy. That’s the emotion – tiring.”
