Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, also collectively known as DonBelle, continue to up their acting skills which is heavily seen in the brand new teaser for their upcoming primetime teleserye, “Can’t Buy Me Love.” The highly-anticipated project marks the first time the love team is to have a primetime series, following the success of the iWantTFC limited series “He’s Into Her” Seasons 1 and 2, as well as their films, “Love Is Color Blind” and “An Inconvenient Love.”

In the latest 1-minute teaser released by Star Creatives, Donny and Belle take on more mature roles through the characters of Bingo and Caroline, who live completely opposite lives, leading to a complex story line. The clip kicks off in a dramatic fashion of Bingo saving a drowning Caroline, as it then showcases the contrast of Bingo’s life, an easy-going, hard-working guy taking on all that he can just to provide for his family, versus the lush and lavish lifestyle of Caroline, a Chinese-Filipino born to a very rich and traditional family.

The New Gen Phenomenal Love Team, as DonBelle has been dubbed, is currently in Milan participating for the ASAP LIVE in Milan show alongside many other ABS-CBN talents. “Can’t Buy Me Love” is set to air in October! Stay tuned for more updates and check out the teaser video down below.
