The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards is in just a few hours and the announcement of the show’s opening performance has made headlines! 2021 MAMA officially confirmed that opening the award show would be members of six fourth-generation idol groups including: Stray Kids’ Hyunjin, ATEEZ’s Wooyoung, TXT’s Yeonjun, ENHYPEN’s Heeseung, ITZY’s Yeji and aespa’s Karina making up the “BlooM the Sound” stage. With this extremely exciting performance of a never-before-seen collaboration stage, we can’t wait to see what else the show has in store! 2021 MAMA is scheduled to air on December 11 and will be hosted by legend Lee Hyori and will features performances by: aespa, ATEEZ, Brave Girls, ENHYPEN, INI, ITZY, JO1, Kep1er, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, Stray Kids and TXT as well as special performances by Ed Sheeren, Wanna One and the “Street Woman Fighter” dance crews.
